A short sale in Catalina that was under contract since July 14th has just come back on the market. The 3/2/2, lake, pool home was listed for $249,900 when it went under contract on 7/14 and it is still listed at that price. The home has been on and off the market since November of 2007.
Our opinion on a situation like this is that this seems to be one of those situations where if the home had been priced properly by the agent back in 2007, these owners would not be in a short sale situation today.
